Police: Teens stole, ate food from Chanceford Twp. church
Three apparently hungry teens allegedly broke into a Chanceford Township church and raided food from its refrigerator for a nosh recently, according to state police.
The teen boys — ages 13, 15 and 15, also took items from mailboxes along Chapel Church and Arnold roads and then damaged the mailboxes during the early afternoon of July, 29, police announced in a news release issued on Thursday.
The trio then allegedly broke in the Water's Edge United Methodist Church, 471 Abels Road, where they caused damage and ate an undisclosed amount of food from the refrigerator, police said.
Police did not release the names of the teens since they are minors.
