Northeastern Pennsylvania man charged for Facebook 'likes'
PITTSTON, Pa. — A northeastern Pennsylvania man is charged with contempt of court after authorities say he violated a no-contact restraining order when he "liked" Facebook photos of a woman.
The (Wilkes-Barre) Times Leader reports 24-year-old April Holland obtained a protection from abuse order against 26-year-old Justin Bellanco on July 28.
The Pittston resident says Bellanco has been harassing her and her friends, even threatening to shoot her knee cap to watch her suffer.
A Luzerne County judge granted a restraining order against Bellanco, prohibiting him from any contact with Holland for a year.
Pittston police arrested Bellanco Monday after they say he liked 22 photos and videos on Holland's Facebook page.
Court records show Bellanco obtained a protection order against Holland in April 2014, alleging she choked him.
