Charging documents for District Judge Jeffrey Scott Joy, who's facing charges for allegedly groping a 31-year-old woman, detail additional alleged inappropriate interactions with other women.

State police and Judicial Conduct Board investigators interviewed the two women who said they had contact with Joy that went beyond his duties as a district judge.

A 24-year-old woman, referred to as R.D. in Joy's charging documents, said she was a defendant in Joy's courtroom when he made inappropriate comments to her.

In 2013, the woman told police, Joy told her she was "too pretty" to be in court for drug charges. He also visited the woman's apartment two or three times, staying for an hour or two, while she still had active cases before him, documents state. He also offered her rides to court appearances and community service, documents state.

Joy, 50, also called the woman at least once.

Joy never made sexual advances toward her while he was at her apartment, the woman told police, noting her mother was always present.

She described him as being "overly caring," documents state.

Second woman: A 26-year-old woman, referred to as G.O., told investigators she also appeared in Joy's court room and experienced similar behavior from him.

During a 2014 traffic violation hearing, Joy told the woman in court that "This officer did you a favor because you are a pretty girl," documents state.

At the end of a Jan. 8, 2015 hearing, Joy asked the woman if she smoked. Documents state that, when she acknowledged she does, Joy asked "You know what they say about girls that smoke? They like things in their mouths, do you like things in your mouth?"

Joy also told the woman they'd have fun if they partied together, documents state.

Joy faces charges of official oppression, indecent assault and two counts of harassment over the alleged groping incident. He has been removed from the bench until further notice.
