Stream habitat study to be held at Nixon County Park
The York County Department of Parks and Recreation will host a study of stream habitat, 2-4:30 p.m. Sunday at Nixon County Park.
Naturalist Mary Ronan will search for aquatic macro-invertebrates such as mayfly and dragonfly nymphs.
Participants will learn how to assess the health of the stream and discuss influences affecting water quality.
Closed-toed shoes that can get wet are required.
Admission is free, and registration is not required.
