Staff of state Rep. Kristin Phillips-Hill, R-York Township, will team up with the staff of U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey, R-Pa., to help residents with federal-related issues later this month.

The casework day will be held Wednesday, Aug. 12, 1 to 4 p.m. at Phillips-Hill's office at 6872 Susquehanna Trail South, just outside Jacobus. A similar event will also be held the same day at Phillip-Hill's satellite office in the Hopewell Township municipal building, 3336 Bridgeview Road, from 9 a.m. to noon, according to a news release from her office.

A member of Toomey's staff will be on hand at both events to help residents who might need some assistance with issues involving federal agencies and programs.

Residents should bring relevant documents they received from any federal agency regarding the matter for which they are seeking assistance, the release says.

To schedule an appointment, call Phillips-Hill's office at (717) 428-9889 or 1-877-207-2272.
