Police: Man helps girlfriend escape York County Prison
A Mechanicsburg man faces charges of helping his girlfriend escape from York County Prison, according to a news release from state police.
Robert Francis Bilunas, 45, picked up Xiomara Renee Saenz, 35, of the York area, while she was out on work release on June 26, police allege.
Ostensibly, he was taking her to the dentist, and the pair did indeed attend the appointment, but then they never came back to the jail, the release states.
He faces felony charges of hindering apprehension or prosecution of a fugitive, while she faces felony charges of escape, according to online court records.
She has previously been charged with theft, drug, prostitution and other charges in multiple Pennsylvania counties, and he's been charged in the past with harassment, records show.
Police have active warrants for both Bilunas and Saenz, according to the release.
Anyone with information should call state police at 428-1011.
