Someone ransacked a Franklin Township home on Monday and stole prescription medications, according to police.

It happened between 3:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. at a home in the 200 block of Capitol Hill Road, according to a Northern York County Regional Police news release.

Police said a burglar or burglars ransacked the contents of the home after getting inside through a back door. "Numerous" prescription medications were taken from the home's bathroom, police said.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call police at (717) 292-3647, or leave a tip online at nycrpd.org.
