The National Safety Council program is open to licensed Pennsylvania drivers 16 and older, as well as for drivers age 55 and older who have already attended previous "coaching the mature driver" programs, according to a news release from police.

The course runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Northern Regional Police Department, 1445 E. Canal Road in Dover Township.

Class size is limited to 30 people and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, police said.

To register, call police at (717) 292-3647, or fill out a registration form at the police station during normal business hours.
