Catch fireworks throughout July 4 weekend around York County and beyond

York County residents could catch Fourth of July fireworks every day next weekend.

Displays are planned for all corners of the county and the region. Thousands are expected to attend York City's event at Santander Stadium, home of the York Revolution baseball team.

Here's a rundown of scheduled events:

FRIDAY, JULY 3

Stewartstown: Music, food and fireworks are planned for the evening at Stewartstown's Hopewell Area Recreation and Parks site, 16 College Ave. The J.C. Fisher Band will play from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., followed by fireworks at about 9:30 p.m. A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, July 5.

Lewisberry: A Lewisberry church has announced plans for an Independence Day celebration, including fireworks. The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 780 Woodland Ave. The event is free and will include carnival games and concessions. Fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m.

SATURDAY, JULY 4

York City: For the third year, the York Revolution baseball team is inviting the community to its stadium for a July 4 celebration. Admission is free. Gates at Santander Stadium will open at 5:30 p.m., followed by a performance from country artist Brittany Opperman at 6 p.m. The U.S. Army Jazz Ambassadors will perform on the field at 8 p.m. Fireworks are scheduled for 9:30 p.m.

For kids, there will be a carnival on the Brooks Robinson Plaza featuring inflatables, water amusements and a foam dance party. The Stauffer's Playground inside the stadium will be open and free.

The stadium's outfield will be available for seating during the fireworks display. Bring blankets, but not lawn chairs.

Parking will be free at Small Athletic Field, Northwest Triangle on Beaver Street and parking garages on West Philadelphia and West King streets.

The stadium's concession stands will be open during the event.

Hanover: Fireworks are scheduled for 9:30 p.m. during Hanover's annual July 4 celebration at Moul Field.

Jacobus: An all-day celebration is planned at the Jacobus Community Park on South Main Street. The event will kick off at 9:15 a.m. with a children's parade and a ceremony honoring emergency responders and members of the military. Food and craft vendors will be open all day. There will also be baseball games, Bingo, live music and puppet theater. Fireworks are planned for 9:15 p.m.

Baltimore: A July 4 celebration is planned for 7 to 10 p.m. at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore. Fireworks choreographed to music will shoot off at 9:30 p.m. The show can be seen from several downtown locations, including Federal Hill, Fell's Point and Harbor East.

Gettysburg: Destination Gettysburg will sponsor a fireworks show at Gettysburg College's Memorial Field off Constitution Avenue. The site will open at 7 p.m., followed by a patriotic concert at 8:30 p.m. Fireworks are scheduled for 9:30 p.m. Food, local craft beer and Adams County wine will be for sale.

SUNDAY, JULY 5

Springettsbury Township: Fireworks will follow the 7 p.m. musical performance of Groove Train at the Springettsbury Township Park's amphitheater, 1501 Mount Zion Road.
