Wellspan to build health center in Hanover area

WellSpan Health will be building an outpatient facility in Penn Township, according to a news release.

On Monday, Aug. 7, WellSpan announced plans to build an 80,000-square-foot facility on Baltimore Street.

Construction on the center is expected to begin this fall, with a planned opening of fall 2018, according to the release. 

The $49 million facility will have a surgery suite, lab and imaging services, and primary care and specialty physician offices. 

The center will be built in phases, with the surgery suite and the lab and imaging services expected to open first, the release states.
