Giant recalls biscuit mix

Giant Food Stores has announced a recall on select boxes of biscuit mix after a recall by the manufacturer, according to a news release.

Certain 7 oz. packages of Southeastern Mills Easy Drop Cheddar Garlic Biscuit Mix have been recalled because of potential salmonella contamination, according to the release.

Customers who purchased biscuit mix packages with the UPC 7029217840 and best-by dates of July 26, Aug. 8, Aug. 12, Aug. 23, Aug. 30, Sept. 2 and Oct. 11, 2017, are asked to discard the product and bring their receipts to Giant for a full refund.
