Comcast maintenance in York might impact DVR settings

Comcast will be performing maintenance on its York County system on Wednesday that mightaffect a small number of previously scheduled DVR recordings, according to a company spokesman.

Bob Grove said "well over 90 percent" of customers will be unaffected, but because of the nature of the maintenance, some recordings scheduled for after Wednesday might be canceled.

The only recordings that are expected to be affected are for "much older programming," Grove said, adding that the issue has to do with certain codes. The maintenance will not affect any shows already recorded, he said.

Grove advised that customers check their future settings on or after Wednesday to ensure they are scheduled as expected.
