Pet Valu opening Springettsbury store

Pet Valu will hold a grand opening celebration for its Springettsbury Township store on Saturday with games, giveaways and pet adoption services, according to a company news release.

The specialty retailer of pet foods, toys, treats and accessories will be open 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. at the 2533 E. Market St. location to celebrate.

Guests can expect a face painter, clown and raffle prizes. The first 50 customers who make a purchase will receive a goodie bag full of animal supplies. Several animal rescues will be on site to facilitate pet adoptions.
