York's Voith Hydro was recently awarded a contract to install two units at Ice Harbor Dam, a hydroelectric facility on the Snake River in Washington state, according to a company news release.

Voith will design and manufacture replacement turbines at the site, which is operated by the U.S. Army Corps' of Engineers' Walla Walla District. The work, which will account for all turbine water passages to maximize fish survival during downstream passage, is expected to be complete in 2018.
