SalonCentric adding 45 jobs in York County
A beauty products supplier in East Manchester Township will expand its operations to create 45 new jobs over the next three years, according to a news release from Gov. Tom Wolf's office.
SalonCentric, at 75 Steam Boat Blvd., will invest an estimated $5.8 million in the expansion project, which will include building modifications and equipment purchases. The company currently has 140 employees in the state, according to the release.
The state Department of Community and Economic Development proposed funding for the expansion that includes a $100,000 Pennsylvania First Program grant, $90,000 in Job Creation Tax Credits and $20,250 in WEDnetPA funding for employee training.
SalonCentric, owned by L'Oreal USA, Inc., operates in 48 states with more than 3,900 employees nationwide, according to the release.
