The former Macy's in West Manchester Town Center will officially open as home decor superstore At Home on May 5, according to a company media alert.

The 110,000-square-foot store will serve as the third Pennsylvania location for the Plano, Texas-based retailer. At Home operates more than 100 stores in 28 states, according to spokeswoman Stacey Sullivan.

The company offers a selection of more than 50,000 items, including seasonal and holiday decor, patio furniture, home furnishings, wall art, rugs and housewares.

The store will employ approximately 25 full- and part-time employees, according to Sullivan.

At Home will also host festivities at the new location on Friday, May 13, and Saturday, May 14, according to the alert.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on May 13 at 9 a.m., and customer giveaways, including 200 "mystery" gift cards, will begin at 9 a.m. on May 14, according to Sullivan. Store hours for both days will be 9 a.m.- 10 p.m.

The company currently operates stores in Erie and Pittsburgh, and Sullivan previously said the company is looking to continue expanding through Pennsylvania because of its success at those locations.

The store is just the latest in a series of new retailers/restaurants that have announced plans to move into West Manchester Town Center.

The list also includes still-to-open MOD Pizza, Outback Steakhouse, Dickey's Barbecue Pit and Fresh Market.
