York-based BAE Systems was awarded an Army contract worth more than $25 million, according to a Department of Defense press release.

The firm-fixed-price contract is for the conversion of 43 Bradley M3 vehicles to M2 vehicles and 13 M3 Operation Desert Storm-Situations Awareness vehicles to M2 Operation Desert Storm-Situations Awareness vehicles.

The work will be performed in York with an estimated completion date of March 30, 2018.
