York City's new Timeline Arcade participating in First Friday

Timeline Arcade will be participating in Downtown York's First Friday for the first time on March 4.

Timeline Arcade is set to open in downtown York on April 15.

The arcade is scheduled to open in the former Police Heritage Museum at 54 W. Market St. on April 15. It currently has a location open at 22 Carlisle St. in Hanover.

The business will be setting up games outside the building and allowing First Friday participants to play for free, according to its Facebook page. Games scheduled to be available include: Ms. Pacman, Space Invaders, Centipede, Zaxxon, Stargate, Asteroids and more.

York City leaders: Royal Square's West Market Street project will be beneficial

The building is one of several on West Market Street that are being renovated by Royal Square Development. The others include the former Zakies building, Weinbrom Jewelers building and F.W. Woolworth Department store, which is adjacent to the arcade.

March's First Friday, Shop and Hop, will also include grand opening ribbon cuttings for Small Star Art House — 4:30 p.m. at 232 W. Market St — and Creative York West — 5:30 p.m. at 118 W. Philadelphia St.

Indie theater, gallery coming to York City

Other featured events include the Wolfgang Candy Co.'s Chocolate Bunny Challenge — 6 to 8 p.m. at Central Market — and free beer tastings from The Beer Ace at several locations.
