Construction on new shopping center almost done in space formerly occupied by Springettsbury Township Fire Hall.

Construction on Firehouse Shoppes in Springettsbury Township is nearing completion.

The new retail center, which replaces the former Springettsbury Township Fire Hall at 3013 E. Market St., is almost fully leased, according to Brad Rohrbaugh of Bennett Williams Realty.

Two suites are available in the center, which is set to house AT&T, Moe's Southwest Grill, Heartland Dental, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Sport Clips and a nail salon.

The construction, being overseen by Real Services, is expected to be complete in time for tenants to begin moving in during March, Rohrbaugh said. AT&T will open later this week, he added.

Moe's, based in Atlanta, is known for its made-to-order burritos and other southwestern fare. The new restaurant will serve as the franchise's only York County location, with nearby locations in Harrisburg and Mechanicsburg.

The center is located near a Home Depot and Walmart.
