A 33,000-square-foot grocery store and 11-unit retail center are among the plans for a new shopping center near York College in Spring Garden Township, according to a Rock Commercial Real Estate press release.

Spring Lane, LLC recently purchased the 5.52-acre property at the corner of South Richland Avenue and Country Club Road, according to the release.

George Bullard, the manager of Spring Lane, did not immediately return a request for comment on the purchase.

The retail shopping center, which is a short drive to York Hospital, will be called Shoppes at Wyndham. The land was sold by AW Liquidation, Inc.

The 11 proposed retail spaces would add up to 20,000 square feet, and the center would include more than 300 parking spaces.
