Get creative with maple
If your maple-flavored barbecue, baked good or beverage is earning raves from friends and family, The Maple Guild’s Maple It Recipe Contest might be right up your alley.
Amateurs and professionals alike are invited to enter unlimited original recipes that use maple products in some fashion. The entries will be narrowed down a top five in each category by celebrity judges, and fans will determine the ultimate winners. The winner in each category will receive a year’s supply of maple products from The Maple Guild.
The contest is open through Dec. 5. For for contest rules and to enter a recipe, visit www.mapleguild.com/mapleit.
Fall arrives early at Dairy Queen restaurants, where the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard is back on the menu. The seasonal flavor is available now for a limited time. For more information, visit www.dairyqueen.com.
