RECOGNITION

York Catholic High School: Eleventh-grader Trevor Hale received a Science Leadership Scholarship in July from the Penn State Nanoscale Science Center for his attendance at the summer camp, Science Leadership: A Festival of Innovative Ideas, at Penn State University.

American Legion Post 605 and Dallastown High School Marine JROTC: Winners of the recent fall rifle shootout are: first place, the Dallastown Precision Team of Cierria Terrizzi (first in overall and first in standing and prone position), Ian Coyne (second in kneeling), Nicholas Reynolds (second in prone and third in kneeling), Noah Bowser and Caleb Moxley; nd place in kneeling); third place, the Sporter Veteran team of Ana Weinfurter (shot the team high and received EIC points), Garrett Richard, Kaitlyn Baldwin and Emily Corwin; and first place, the Sporter Rookie team of Anita Shaffer (third overall and standing and kneeling), Zachary Kauffman, Conner Myers, Jacob Libertini and Kallie Abramson.
