Bob Jones University: Levi Emig, of Stewartstown, has been named to the University Singers choral organization, and John Wilson, of Delta, was named the PlanFIRST Player of the Game in the Bruins Oct. 8 match against Laurel University.

Iowa State University: Katherine Lowe, of Felton, participated as a team member in the regional Collegiate Dairy Products Evaluation Contest and won first in butter judging in the national contest, both held in September.

Lebanon Valley College: Multicultural Fellowships were awarded to LaElla Dickerson, of Manchester, and Cameron Boxley and Jacob Whitfield, both of York, and among those who attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County Undergraduate Research Symposium, chemical and biological sciences, were Timothy Monko, of Dillsburg, Carrie Pfleiger, of Dover, and Alexandria Lehman, of York.

Millersville University: Zachary Cober, of Dillsburg, and Nicole Daacke, of Glen Rock, were named to the homecoming court.

Red Lion FFA Chapter: The chapter's display board, the Avian Flu and You,and its bundle, a collection of grains and hays, both won first place at The York Fair. Among its winning members are:

Allison Macklin, first place, corsage flower arrangement and livestock judging competition.

Jacklyn Henshaw, first place, boutonniere.

Heidi Chapman, first place, nosegay.

Larissa Herbert, first place overall, dairy judging senior division and overall.

Casidee Crowl, first place, junior division.

Mitchell Grove, grand champion commercial ewe.

University of the Sciences: Shane Henson, of Lewisberry, received a pharmacy white coat during a ceremony on Sept. 19.
