McDaniel College: Ashley Stough, of Dillsburg, and Douglas Christian Mills, of Felton, were named Global Fellows for a three-year program, and Lucia Belivakici, of Hanover, had artwork displayed in a student honors exhibit.

Penn College: Joshua T. Posey, of York Haven, was one of a group of horticulture students to finish in the top 10 of three categories in the Professional Landscape Network's 39th annual Student Career Days held in Raleigh, N.C.

The College of Wooster: Mallory Kruper, of York, received the Peter H. Gore Prize, awarded to an upperclass student interested in international relations. The prize supports research expenses or travel to a professional conference.


Castleton State College: Emily Hudson, of Dillsburg, a field hockey student-athlete, was named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association National Academic Squad.

Lebanon Valley College: Among the students who played winter sports are:

Men's indoor track & field team: Brandon McMinn and Mickeal Pugh, both of Hanover; Andrew Walker, of Spring Grove; and Johnathan Salcedo and Steven Salcedo, both of York.

Men's swim team: Jonathan Fogleman and Daniel Weinel, both of York.

Women's indoor track & field team: Abbey Barnhart, of Glen Rock; Morgan Yealy, of Hanover; Rebecca Sitler, of Wrightsville; and Cheyanne Brown (Rookie of the Year), Rachel Eyler and Hannah Jones, all of York.

Women's basketball team: Alexandria Lehman, of York.

Women's swim team: Alayna Kalinay, of Dillsburg, and Jessica Boyd, of Hellam.


Air Force: Staff Sgt. Sebastian Ortiz has been assigned to the recruiting office at 180 Leader Heights Road, to serve as a recruiter.
