Some York County wrestlers took part in a pair of large tournaments over the weekend and three returned with gold medals.

Central York standout Michael Wolfgram won the 285-pound championship at the Conestoga Valley Holiday Classic in Lancaster County, earning a pin in the championship match.

In addition, Central's Mason Myers took third at 132 and the Panthers' Ricardo Medina was fourth at 160. They helped the Panthers finish fifth in the 26-team tournament.

Red Lion's Cole Daugherty was third at 145.

In the Trojans Wars Tournament at Chambersburg High School in Franklin County, two York County wrestlers captured championships — Spring Grove's Dalton Rohrbaugh at 126 and Northeastern's Cole Wilson at 113. Daugherty won his title match 14-7, while Wilson won by pin.

Spring Grove's Clay Baker took second at 132, while another Rocket, Anthony Hinson, was runner-up at 160. Both lost in the finals by decision.

Overall, Spring Grove finished eighth in the 40-team tournament.

Susquehannock rolls past Biglerville: In wrestling action from Wednesday at Biglerville, the Warriors rolled over the Canners, 54-29, behind pins from Eric Younkin (138), Joey Romjue (170), Luke Ohmann (195) and Alex Smith (220).
