For the last several years, there's been a York County pipeline fueling the Shippesnburg University baseball team.

The 2017 season is no different.

Several former York-Adams League players are again enjoying standout seasons for the Raiders, who stand at 13-16-1 overall and 6-6 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.

West York High School graduate Cash Gladfelter leads Ship in hitting at .398. The sophomore infielder also has one homer, 22 RBIs and 22 runs scored, with a .583 slugging percentage and a .470 on-base percentage.

Dover grad Grant Hoover is a junior outfielder/pitcher. He's hitting .337 with a homer and 13 RBIs. He has a .459 slugging percentage and .398 on-base percentage. As a pitcher, Hoover is 1-1 with a 3.94 ERA.

Spring Grove grad Dalton Hoiles, a junior outfielder, boasts a .327 average with three homers and 27 RBIs. His slugging percentage is .464 and his on-base percentage is .403.

Another Spring Grove grad, Nick Spangler, is hitting .257 with one homer and 13 RBIs. Spangler is a junior infielder.

Gladfelter, Hoiles and Spangler have each played in all 30 Ship games. Hoover has seen action in 27 games.
