Tickets are becoming a scarce commodity for Northeastern High School boys' basketball home games.

The Bobcats stand at 15-0 overall and lead York-Adams Division I at 8-0. They are rated No. 1 in the latest District 3 Class 5-A power ratings and were ranked No. 5 in the state in Class 5-A in the latest City of Basketball Love PIAA rankings.

As a result, the Northeastern athletic department has had to resort to holding advance ticket sales for selected home games because of the high demand.

That will be the case on Friday night, when the Bobcats play host to Central York (8-6, 4-4).

Doors for the game will open at 5 p.m., with the junior varsity tip-off set for 6 p.m. The varsity game will follow the JV contest.

All Northeastern athletic department year/season passes will be accepted, if they are purchased by Thursday. Only Northeastern Senior Gold Passes will be accepted. District 3 (gray passes) will not be accepted for this game.

Tickets can be purchased at the Northeastern ninth-grade main office (198 N. Hartman St., Manchester) on Wednesday from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. and Thursday from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.

Tickets may also be purchased at Central York High School on Thursday from 10:45 a.m. until 1 p.m. and Friday from 10:45 a.m. until 1 p.m.
