For the third time in her Shippensburg University career, Central York High School graduate Megan Lundy has earned a Pennsylvania State Athlete Conference Top 10 Award.

Lundy won the award for the spring 2016 semester.

Central York High School graduate Megan Lundy has won a $7,500 NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship.

The award is chosen by the league's sports information directors and is designed to recognize student-athletes who excel in both the classroom and in athletic competition. The award is given to five males and five females in each athletic season: fall, winter, and spring.

Lundy, a track standout, recently graduated from Shippensburg with a 4.0 grade-point average, majoring in early childhood education.

Lundy was named All-PSAC in the 400-meter event this spring, an honor she has earned in all four of her years on campus, both indoor and outdoor. She is a two-time College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-America Second Team honoree, a two-time PSAC Champion Scholar, a three-time NCAA Division II qualifier and a 16-time PSAC place-winner, including eight top-three finishes in the 400. Lundy is also an active member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
