Alzheimer's and dementia support webinar
Senior Commons at Powder Mill will be hosting a virtual webinar via Zoom titled "Coping with Challenging Situations in Dementia Care" with dementia expert Teepa Snow at 3:15 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13.
Snow is a dementia advocate and educator with a life mission to shed a positive light on dementia.

32nd Annual Poetry Contest
York County Libraries has announced that starting Monday, Nov. 16, they will begin accepting entries for their 32nd annual A Celebration of Poetry Contest.
Interested youth in grades one through 12 can submit one original poem in the contest through Friday, Jan. 29, 2021. The poem must be written by the individual and not as a collaboration or group.
Prizes will be awarded to students in six different age brackets.
Entries can be submitted by email, online, by mail or at Martin Library Children’s Library. For more information or an official entry form, visit poetry.yorklibraries.org.
