Traffic delays for ballot collection
York City residents should expect congestion on several streets due to drive-up ballot collections at the York County Administrative Center.
Motorists should be aware of delays on East Market, George and North Beaver streets, according to a news release.
Individuals should avoid East Market Street eastbound to George Street to provide "easier access" to residents dropping off ballots, the release states.
Drive-up access in front of the York County Administrative Center, located at 28 E. Market St., will be available from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day, which is Tuesday

Grade One at the Library celebration
The York County Libraries has announced that from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 14, they will host a free virtual celebration for first grade readers.
The Grade One at the Library event will feature author Anthony Fredericks and ZooAmerica.
Fredericks is a professor of education at York College and has authored more than 160 books. His award-winning children's books include: “Desert Night, Desert Day,” “A is for Anaconda: A Rainforest Alphabet" and “Tall Tall Tree.”
