Runners can brighten their day and the lives of cancer patients by participating in the third annual Susquehannock High School 5K Color Run on Saturday, May 19.

During the walk/run, participants will pass four color stations where they will be sprayed with a washable color powder made of cornstarch, baking soda and dye.

The competitive race begins at 10 a.m., with the family fun run starting at 10:45 a.m.

The entry fee is $20 for those 18 and younger and $25 for those 19 and older. Proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society. Those who register by Friday, April 27, will be guaranteed a race T-shirt.
