The 27th May Day Fairie Festival is fast approaching at Spoutwood Farm, and volunteers are needed to make the final year a success.

No experience is needed to volunteer, and all volunteers who complete a two-hour shift at the festival will have their single-day admission refunded. To sign up, fill out the volunteer application on www.spoutwood.org.

Additionally, advance tickets are on sale through Friday, April 27, also at www.spoutwood.org. Those who purchase tickets in advance will get discounted admission and a separate entrance for quick admittance on festival days.

Advance tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for ages 3-12 for single-day admission; $50 for three-day admission and a limited edition T-shirt for adults; or $36 for a family pack of single-day admission for two adults and two children ages 3-12.

Regular adult admission is $20 for a one-day pass and $80 for a three-day pass; a family pack is regularly $50.

This year’s festival runs Friday, May 4, through Sunday, May 6, at Spoutwood Farm, 4255 Pierceville Road near Glen Rock. Friday is Children’s Day at the festival, and children ages 3-12 will be admitted free.

Parking is available for $5 in marked areas along Pierceville Road.
