York College writer-in-residence Jay Heinrichs will discuss the state of civic discourse in today’s polarized political climate during a free talk at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 26, in the DeMeester Recital Hall of Evelyn and Earle Wolf Hall on campus, 441 Country Club Road, Spring Garden Township.

After the talk, Heinrichs will sign copies of his New York Times bestseller “Thank You for Arguing: What Aristotle, Lincoln and Homer Simpson Can Teach Us About the Art of Persuasion,” which we be for sale at the event.
