Dress in your silliest mismatched attire for the April Fools ballroom dance social at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 15, at the York Jewish Community Center, 2000 Hollywood Drive, York Township.

USA Dance Chapter #3008 York will host the event, which will include a lesson, a demonstration and general dancing.

This month’s lesson will be the waltz, taught by Bill and Lynette Baker of Sir Dance-A-Lot Studio in Spring Grove. After the lesson, general dancing to ballroom, Latin and swing music will run from 3:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The featured demonstration will include jive, swing and the cha cha by the Latin Formation Group from Promenade DanceSport in Baltimore.

Light refreshments will be available. Guests may bring food to share so long as it doesn’t contain pork or shellfish.

Admission is $10 for members, $14 for nonmembers and $5 for students through college age.
