The annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraiser rolls into spring with event dates in April and May at several locations in York and Adams counties.

The program benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters, bringing in more than $100,000 each year. Participants can create or join a bowling team and raise funds to help at-risk youth be matched with mentors.

The parties feature food, prizes and, of course, bowling. This year’s events will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at Edgewood Lanes in Gettysburg; 2 p.m. Sunday, April 22, at South Hanover Lanes in Hanover; 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 5, and Sunday, May 20, at Laser Alleys in Springettsbury Township; and 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 24, for a “happy hour” bowl at Suburban Bowlarama in York Township.
