York College will host South Central Camp Cadet, a summer camp run by the Pennsylvania State Police, on campus June 10-15.

The program is open to boys and girls at least 13 years old and not more than 15 years old by June 1. Campers must be in good physical condition. Between 80 and 100 teens from Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Perry and York counties will be chosen for the camp.

Campers will learn about careers in law enforcement and participate in a mix of classroom instruction and physical activities. The program aims to improve self-discipline, teamwork and social skills.

Applications must be received by April 30. A $25 application fee is required.
