York Traditions Bank is looking to bestow $500 awards on future leaders.

Applications for the Her Traditions Scholarship Program must be dropped off at a bank branch or postmarked by Wednesday, Feb. 28. Up to four awards will be given to graduating high school seniors.

To be eligible, applicants must be female, live in York County, be graduating from a high school in the county in 2018, have served as a class officer or held a leadership position in another school-sponsored activity, have maintained a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale through the end of their junior year, have completed at least 20 hours of community service within the last 12 months, and write an essay defining what leadership means to them.
