The City of York-Bureau of Health is offering free HIV testing and counseling in honor of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day on Wednesday.
According to the Centers for Disease Control, African Americans account for a higher proportion of new HIV diagnoses and those living with HIV.
Testing will be offered 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. Wednesday at the York City Bureau of Health, 435 W. Philadelphia St. All testing is confidential and free. Walk-ins are welcome.
