Volkssport walk and swim event planned

The York White Rose Wanderers will host its Volkssport walk and swim event, Saturday-Sunday, Feb. 3-4, at The Athletic Club of York, 1785 Loucks Road.

Walking will begin between 8:30 a.m. and noon and end by 3 p.m. Swim times  begin 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Sunday, ending at 2:30 p.m.

There is no charge for the walk, which takes place around the West Manchester Town Center and through a neighborhood iin West York on sidewalks and along a road.

A $5 fee is required for the pool.
