The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources has announced its winter walks schedule at Gifford Pinchot State Park.

A park naturalist will lead the easy to moderate walks, which will last about an hour and a half, depending on weather conditions.

The first walk will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22. All other walks will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9 and Feb. 10; Monday, Jan. 1; and Friday, Jan. 12 and Feb. 23.

Walkers should meet at the main building, Conewago Day Use area off of Alpine Road.

Participants sure dress for the weather and bring their own water bottles and snacks.
