Library program on Native Americans
Pennsylvania
Red Land Community Library, 48 Robin Hood Drive, Newberry Township, will host a program about the Native Americans who lived in the Susquehanna Valley, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16.

The program will be presented by Barry C. Kent, a former Pennsylvania archeologist. He is the author of “Susquehanna’s Indians” and “Jacob, My Friend” and was instrumental in implementing the State Museum of Pennsylvania’s Hall of Anthropology and Archeology. He is a recipient of the Society of Pennsylvania Archeology’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
The doors open at 6 p.m.
Admission is free, but donations will support the library.
