The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s 14th Small Business Advantage Grant Program opens Friday, July 28, with a webinar at 11 a.m.

The $1 million fund is designed to assist small businesses with fewer than 100 employees in using pollution-prevention or energy-efficiency measures.

Businesses could receive up to a 50 percent reimbursement on new equipment or processes which save a minimum of $500 and reduce energy or waste by 25 percent per year.

Grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, and applications must be submitted online.

The one-hour webinar, offering information on program changes and help with the application process, can be accessed at https://copa.webex.com/copa/onstage/g.php?MTID=e0aad04ff0552bbd7ca8f72a708eb4860.
