The Historic Newton Square Neighborhood Association will host its Secret Gardens of York walking tour, 1-4 p.m. Saturday, June 17, from the crosswalk at South Newberry Street and West Newton Avenue.

Rebuilt out of the ravages of Hurricane Agnes in 1972, the area is a diverse neighborhood that showcases the character and appeal of downtown living. The tour will include 10 gardens, music and light refreshments.

Tickets are $15 in advance, available at i-ron-ic Art Boutique & Coffee House, Sweet Melissa’s Dream, Martin Library, Prime Art Supply Co., the Village Library in Jacobus, and online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/secret-gardens-of-york-2017-tickets-32479999553.

Tickets are $20 on the day of the event.
