Friends of the Dover Area Community Library will host its 11th annual plant sale, 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, May 27, at the Lehr Park pavilion adjacent to the library, 3700 Davidsburg Road, Dover Township.

The sale will feature a large number of reasonably priced perennial and annual flowers mostly donated from local gardens and businesses and all ready for planting.

Also, those who want to donate plants from their gardens are welcome to drop them off from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, May 26, with the name of the plant and sun-or-shade instructions.

Volunteers are also available to help with digging up plants for the sale.

The Friends group raises money for the Dover Library, which has the largest circulation numbers of the 13 York County library facilities. Its 2017 goal is to raise $43,000.

To schedule an appointment for help with plant donations or for more information about the Friends group, call the library at 717-292-6814.
