The York County Department of Parks and Recreation will host a spring birds walk, 2:30-4 p.m. Sunday, May 7, at Nixon County Park.

Francis Velazquez, a parks naturalist, will lead a search for vireos, phoebes, warblers and tanagers. Bring binoculars and a field guide. A limited number of lending binoculars will be available.

Admission is free and registration is not required. The program is geared for adults and children ages 10 and older.
