West York Bark and Honey’s Raid will host Honeyfest, an adoption and bully breed awareness event, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, May 6, at Bark headquarters, 1700 W. Philadelphia St.

The event, designed to raise awareness about dogfighting, will feature food, raffles, music, vendors and adoptable dogs. The guest of honor will be Honey, a former bait dog found in York City nearly four years ago.

The event will also serve as the grand opening of Bark’s new location, with a ribbon-cutting at noon.
