The York County Bar Association and Foundation will celebrate Law Day and honor civic achievements, noon-1:30 p.m. Monday, May 1, at the Valencia Ballroom, 142 N. George St.

The theme, The 14th Amendment: Transforming American Democracy, is an exploration of the many ways the amendment has reshaped American law and society.

The event will include a luncheon with Gov. Tom Wolf as the featured speaker; the presentation of the Liberty Bell Award; announcement of the winners of an essay and bumper sticker contest; and Mock Trial award presentations.

The cost of the luncheon is $15 in advance.
