Free Arbor Day family program

The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources will host a free Arbor Day program, 10-11:30 a.m. Friday, April 28, at Codorus State Park, Visitor Center, 2600 Smith Station Road, Hanover.

The family program, Save a Snag, will emphasize the importance of dead and dying trees as wildlife habitat. There will be a storytime, a presentation and a craft activity which are geared for children in pre-k to sixth-grade.
Hiking and picnics are encouraged.
