Garlic mustard removal, tasting

The York County Department of Parks and Recreation will conduct a garlic mustard pull and tasting, 1-4 p.m. Sunday, April 23, at Nixon County Park.

Kelsey Frey will present a short orientation, then participants will pull the invasive plant on the park’s trails to benefit native wildflowers and wildlife.
Participants will return to the park’s nature center from 3-4 p.m. to sample food items made from garlic mustard.
There is no fee, but pre-registration is requested.
