Activities at Paul Smith Library
The Paul Smith Library of Southern York County, 80 Constitution Ave., Shrewsbury, has announced events in April. The schedule is:
- College financial planning seminar for parents of sophomore and junior students, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 5.
- Book talk and signing by local author Eliza Rusk, 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 5. The event kicks off her new book, “This Country Life: Animal Stories.” Donations will be collected for Animal Rescue Inc. of New Freedom.
- Truck zoo for children and their families, noon-3 p.m. Sunday, April 30, rain or shine.
- Friends annual spring book sale, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, April 30. Early admission is 10 a.m. for a $5 admission fee; otherwise admission is free. Books are $2-$1 and then $5 per bag after 3 p.m.
